it was an extremely awkward experience. I went in yesterday for a manicure and was not even greeted or anything, just shown a seat. The lady who was doing my nails kept looking at me with a weird look while speaking Chinese with a colleague. For the whole manicure she didn't say a word to me and kept speaking Chinese which, as a foreigner myself, I thought it was a bit rude. The instruments were not sterilized or kept in disinfectant but just in a plastic box. The hand massage lasted less than a minute. The manicure overall was just acceptable and the fact that they refused to accept a card payment has put me off forever. There are much better places in London for a manicure.
Got a regular polish (not shellac) and it was way cheaper than other places. However the quality is also way lower, it started to chap and wear off in the corners after 2 days.
