Rather disappointed with my pedicure. Like so many places, it's clearly who you get that determines what you get. Having had an excellent pedicure from a chap the first time, the second time I had a young girl who whizzed through my 45 minute pedicure in 20 minutes, then sat on her phone. If I'd wanted an express pedicure it would've been alright, however, I'd paid more to have a luxury pedicure.
The massage (one of the best bits) lasted as long as my sneeze and the beautician didn't bother properly smoothing the soles of my feet. When I informed her that I need a little extra TLC on my big toes due to ingrowing nails, I got a painful 5 minutes of scraping followed by the fastest nail filing I've ever seen. Normally my pedicures will last me about 3-4 weeks, but after a week my badly filed nails were catching and my heels were like I'd never been to the salon.
My advice, choose your beautician.
