The price reflects the location which is a simple room in a pharmacy. Definitely not a spa with a relaxing atmosphere however for an underarm wax which I had it was fine. The beautician was thorough and I am happy with the result.
It was my first time at Warwick beauty spot. I had HD eye brows done. It was hard to find the place as it is inside the pharmacy in the basement. It looked a bit dull as I walked down the stairs and I was not expecting much. I was seen on time (I wanted a quick lunch time eyebrow treatment as I was due too go away for the weekend ) the room was bright and clean and smelt lovely like Christmas spices. The lady doing the treatment was nice and friendly. Well my eye brows looked great when done I was really happy. I am a bit of a chicken but the lady was very gentle and all was done nice and quickly so I was back to work before anyone even missed me. Many thanks to Treatwell I would never have known about this place had I have not seen it it here.
Had a very relaxing Indian head massage here! Was so good I was tempted to pay more for the therapist to keep going!
The venue wasn't as glamourous as I had imagined but once the lights were dimmed and with the soothing music playing, I was soon enjoying a deep calm and therapeutic benefits of the therapists healing hands.
Everything seemingly went well in the beginning, however I noticed an excessive and painful amount of pulling and pointing (with tweezers? I could only feel it) on the eyelash and eyelids. I could feel she was constantly trying to cut in between glued lashes. When the treatment was over, she asked me to open my eyes but I couldn’t as some upper lashes and lower lashes (or eyelids) were glued together!! She then cut them separate so finally I could open my eyes.
They were the WORST eyelash extension I have ever done/seen in terms of quality- fake lashes were pointing all directions, some of them were glued to my EYELIDS instead of my own lashes. I could barely open my eyes as the fake lashes were sticking into my eyelids and so painful. I then requested her to remove all of the fake lashes as they look horrific. I have been having eyelash extensions for over 3 years now and have never seen anything like this! She then applied some VERY STRONG glue removers, didn’t wait for them to soak in, and started pulling the lashes off. It was SOOOO PAINFUL and glue remover had gone into my eyes and make it SO SORE I had to scream from pain.
I requested her to take it slowly and be more patient using cotton buds to remove them individually. She did but still hurried as she apparently had customers scheduled right behind me.
I wrote to Treatwell about this but got a reply that 'there is nothing we can do'. If Treatwell is gonna charge 25% of the service fee, it better be able to do something! Disappointed and not a happy customer at all.
