Actually had the full both aromatherapy massage not the Swedish one.
It was sooo good. Nara just knows when & where to apply more pressure. You don't need to say a word. You can just lay there and let her do her magic.
The place has always had a warm, welcoming feeling.
Christine and all her therapists excel at their skills.
I even take my parents there now. They are so nice, understanding and patient with them.
My dad says they are "fantastic"!
I was disappointed with F. she was too fast in her movements, she cant speak English so communication was not easy, she took off the towel covering my top body and massaged this part without asking me if I minded and she was going to message my stomach which I had to ask her to stop. I ended feeling un-relaxed and did not feel i got value for my money.
I had a great deep tissue massage. I had been having bad back pains for the previous week or so from stress and tension and lifting heavy things around, and this massage helped a lot. It was certainly very thorough, and extremely rigorous, but it was worth it as my back felt much better after a couple of days.
I was slightly disappointed with my recent visit to Vida. I had booked as a promotion over the phone and was told that I would get my receipt when I attended my treatments however there was no receipt. One of my treatments had to be canceled due to a therapist going on holiday so I was meant to receive a refund on the day however that did not happen either as the therapist treating me was unable to find my receipt. So as a result I now have to follow up on the refund. Now the treatments themselves - facial and massage should have been a total of 1 hour and 55 minutes however my treatments started a few minutes late and finished early too! If I had paid full price I would have been extremely annoyed. Now when it came to the massage as I was lying face down I could see all the dust on the floor in addition to on the actual treatment table. I tried very hard not to think about it but I think cleanliness needs to be worked upon! Last but not least I wasn't even offered a glass of water at the end of my treatments! This is not the experience I was expecting from my trip to Vida especially having read some of the reviews before I booked.
