Its an average looking nail parlor but the staff is very friendly and efficient. I booked a shellac mani pedi for £20 which i thought was an absolute steal, but wasnt sure if it actually included a proper full fledged mani padi or just shellac application for hands and toes. But i was pleasantly reassured when she directed me to the massage chair with the pedicure bath. The rest was more than what i expected and I've very happy with my mani pedi. I even got my upperlip waxed for just £3! highly recommended for cheap but really good shellac mani pedi.
This is the first time I have been to this salon. I went as treatwell indicated that I could get the two treatments for £22. When I got to the salon, I had difficulty picking a nail colour for my hands, as they had no neutral colours. The nail technician suggested one, which I had applied to my little finger. I did not like the colour, so requested a change, as I could not find a colour I liked I asked for it to be removed. I was told there would be a charge for this (even though it was only one finger). I therefore decided to go ahead and have my fingers painted with a shade I didn't like to forgo the charge.
The whole time I was in the salon the staff talked to each other in there own native language. When I went to pay I was informed it was £40, when i queried this, I was pointed to the window with a poster which said £20 shellac. The email from treatable did not include the price I had booked for so I could not dispute this.
The nail salon only took cash payments which also made me query the legitimacy of this venue.
This is a cosy little nail bar with a room at the back for facial/wax treatments. Facial was ok - nothing fancy but all the basics you would expect. Waxing was quick and done well.
A great little salon - ok, it's not going to win any awards for decor but it's clean, the staff are lovely and the shellac mani-pedi I got was done fast to a good standard, for a very reasonable price. Nice selection of colours. It was quite a warm afternoon so it was nice to be given a bottle of water whilst having the treatment too. I'll definitely be going back!
