I went to this salon earlier this week and my experience was bizarre.
I have been to many hair salons and this actually slightly traumatised me. I feel like very small things could have completely changed my experience. I would really like to stress that my hair colour is AMAZING and it is clear Villy is extremely talented.
If you are looking for a fail safe colourist then this lady was truly brilliant and although as a personal decision I would not return because I was so upset by that 8 hour ordeal (my hair is also very thick and long- and previously coloured) I want Villy to know that I recognise she did a beautiful job.
Just a few points I wanted to make in the interest of improving things:
- my appointment started 2 HOURS later than it was meant to with no explanation or even a sorry which meant I ended up cancelling my evening plans. When I came in no one even came to ask me how they could help I was just asked to sit and wait.
- I was genuinely in the salon for 8 HOURS with no offer of a drink and I ended up having to ask for a glass of water but I had no warning of how long this would last. I think it would have made the WORLD of difference if someone had just offered me a hot drink and I would not have felt so abandoned and upset and I could have went and got some snacks in the first few hours I waited.
- my cut was pretty average to be honest. I would have liked a bit more time to see exactly what the cut was and had more off- I was just not that impressed with it but I can understand the stylist was rushing because I was there for SO long
I would say that if your hair is simple then choose this lady you should have a much better time than I did!
I hope this gives a true reflection of my experience and I guess if the hospitality and communication with the customers was better then I would 100% recommend this place.
