Absolutely horrible experience. From the start I was made to feel like my hair is awful- the hairdresser made a face when I said I straighten it (we don’t all have straight hair!) also when I said I dye it (her own hair was bright turquoise) also when I said how much I wanted trimmed off as this apparently wasn’t right either. I thought that having your hair done was meant to be a nice treatment that makes you feel good but actually I just left feeling sad and upset about my hair. Don’t bother going here.
Ladies' Haircuts
Unwelcoming stylist who only spoke his own language to his colleagues throughout my appointment and barely said two words to me; minimal consultation; hair was cut DRY and washed afterwards (I've never known this done before!); no final touch-up done, just a rough dry with my head between my legs (again, WTH?!) before the stylist turned away to answer the phone and never came back - I assumed that was the end of the appointment after waiting a minute or two, took my robe off and walked out. The salon description promises a "complimentary glass of wine" - I wasn't even offered a glass of water! I went out looking a mess and had to put my hair up to walk home, but to be fair, once I'd dried and styled my hair myself at home the final cut was ok - the only saving grace on what was otherwise going to be a 1-star review, sorry! Much work needed on their customer service, and definitely not the "luxurious" service advertised.
