I trusted the positive reviews and tried their pedicure and received a terrible infection on my toe. I have never seen the footbath layered with plastic, the water was not flowing and I had my doubts! Not sure about the cleanliness overall as the foot file did not look new! They were very rude to ask for the extra treatment (hand nail file) not booked online to be prepaid, as if you might not pay. They only take cash for treatments not booked online - this made me feel uncomfortable as it suggested questionable tax obligations on their part. They should also not be accepting appointments they do not have enough time to complete i.e., toe nails cannot dry before closing time, forcing customers buy flip flops for £8 extra paid in cash only.
I asked for a refund over the phone explaining the infection and offering to send image via email and the pain I was in - offered no apology and refuse to refund unless I came in and showed them the toe. Atrocious service and dubious cleanliness. Pick another salon, I’ve been going to a really wonderful one found on Treatwell. Don’t waste your money here.
