Had a lovely facial from the lovely Nikki, lovely girl. Highly recommend this salon xx
First started coming here just before Christmas, and had been going 2-3 times a month as conveniently close to where I live yet not one member of staff could be bothered to remember my name and even 3 months in I was asked whether I had been before. Upon arrival into the salon, there is no receptionist so walking in and having to shout over to one of the hair stylists what you have come in for is slightly uncomfortable.
Firstly the eye lash extensions, even before they were on, the magnifying glass light fell on to me on 2 separate occasions as Nikki was fitting my lashes, I would always be left with clumps of glue and they would only look good for a few days (as being new to eye lash extensions, I thought nothing of it other than to look good for the weekend) I have recently been to another technician specialising in Nouveau lashes and she told me that whoever had been doing my lashes before had be doing them wrong and putting lashes on that were far too long for my own lashes which had caused bald spots. The salon always told me it was my fault all my lashes were falling out as it was something I was doing wrong. I was stupid enough to believe them. Other than the staff (excluding Nikki and Jenny) being very rude, every time I tried to make an appointment, no one would answer the phone so I resorted to messaging them on Facebook yet no one would reply for days. When I asked why no one replied, I was given the rude response of 'maybe we are busy?' Instead of an apology and to fit me in at the next available appointment.
Fair to say. I will not be returning and I urge anyone that is getting lashes to look elsewhere.
Other the other hand, Jenny is really good at blow drys but sadly it's not worth the rude staff and uncomfortable atmosphere.
