Had my haircut by Zoe and I love it, very busy hairdressers but still a great service
Last minute appointment with Dani for a blow dry and she also found the time to do my roots off the cuff, even though she was crazy busy ❤️ Absolutely adore her
I've never left a bad review before, but this time I've had to. I went in to have an inverted choppy bob, long at the front (and longer on one side) and short at the back. I've had this hairstyle many many times before with no problems. I took three pictures to show the stylist, of the front, the back, and the sides, so they would be able to understand what I wanted. The stylist cut the front way shorter than I asked (by 3 to 4 inches). I asked for chin length and it's been cut to ear length. She was in a rush to get me done to get back to a client with a colour on and so she kept trying to rush me out when it looked a mess. The back is wonky and although she kept saying she would use clippers on my neck hairs she never did and now it looks stupid. I had to keep asking her to use thinning scissors because my hair looked like a mushroom. Everything I asked seemed to annoy the stylist more and more so in the end I just said it was fine and left. She knew she was leaving it in a state, because she took a 'before' picture but knew it was too bad to take an 'after' picture. The worst part about it was watching other staff members smirking at my hair in the mirror as they walked past. As I said, I've had this same hairstyle many times before and never had any issues but this time it's embarrassing. I'm probably going to have to go and get a pixie cut now so it at least looks like it's supposed to be this short.
I always book in to voodou because the staff and atmosphere are always fantastic. However, the salon booking system needs to improve. The demand of clients is always higher than the amount of staff available on the day. Every time I’ve have made an appointment, I have been left waiting 30 minutes or more and there has been a steady decline in the attention to customer service due to simply not hiring enough hairdressers to meet the demand. Subsequently I feel rushed out and unable to explain my dissatisfaction as I know it it not the fault of the hairdresser and they are all working ridiculously hard. I will not be returning for a hair cut.
