It was booked for me as a birthday treat, so we arrived Friday evening to be told our treatments had been booked for Friday, even though I called a booked for the Saturday, then it couldn't be changed due to being fully booked. The staff didn't seem worried about this and no offer of refund was offered. Will not be returning
This was my 2nd visit within a year and once again it was a pleasure.
The staff were attentive, the Spa was brilliant and the food was well presented.
I would recommend this venue.
Lovely old hotel on the sea front. We had a nice room on the top floor, so no noise. (Great views) Very comfortable with good facilities. The only complaint is that the heating was difficult to regulate. We had 4 meals in the restaurant and all were of a good standard, with good service. Plenty of choices from the menu. The treatment was very nice, although the spa facilities are lacking. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay, good value and well worth the trip to historic Dover.
Had a lovely break at the Waterfront Hotel for 2 days. For what I spent the experience was great. Staff in the hotel, bar and restaurant were friendly. The ladies in the spa were great and my boyfriend really enjoyed his massage, he usually complains they are not "firm" enough.
Great massage, lovely big room but not able to control the heating yourself. Only one elevator so we used the stairs the majority of the time as there was always a long wait for the elevator. We bought a package that came with a three course meal, the food was good but there wasn't a huge choice. The buffet breakfast was lovely but would have been better if more staff were working.
