Excellent 2 night stay-friendly helpful staff, rooms comfortable with very good facilitiesSpa treatments were fantastic-would highly recommend and I would definately go back again.
The hotel is fairly easy to get to (costs about £5) for a taxi to the station Dover Piory, it is in a lovely location which is great for a jog or for a walk, there is not so much to do in the area but it is lovely. The spa barely counts as a spa because it only has a gym and sauna which is not so big so in busy times this would be an awful place to be. However they do provide robes and slippers which is absolutely lovely and the massage therapists are great at their jobs. The food is okay for the set menu but not that great and there is not much around so beware bring some money for dominos or the pub. Their cafe is quite alright though for afternoon meal just the free meal isn't that great. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and perfect so when we went we ate till out hearts content. Our main complaints are:
1) the bed were extraordinarily uncomfortable, I and all my friends woke up with the absolutely worst backache. It really has to be the most uncomfortable bed I have ever had the misfortunte of sleeping in
2) The reception staff were friendly but were not very informative when you first come in so ask about everything you can think of because they simply wont tell if you don't ask
3) When we went to the room there was a massive hair ball smeared on the shower wall which was just not pleasant at all
4) The sauna is small and there is no steam room, the gym is okay but definitely not state of the art
All in all it was a okay trip, I had alot of fun with my friends and we loved breakfast and the location so it is okay for a cheap trip to the coast
It was quirky. Room was nice but the floor is skew so the bed wasn't level and I kept rolling (almost) off of it.
The Spa is lovely and the staff at the Spa are brilliant!
