The massage was good but when I arrived the door was locked - perhaps this was because it was 6pm and for security reasons they keep it closed if dealing with customers down stairs - I understand this, so it's fine. But after knocking on the door for a while I was greeted by a girl who seemed to be wondering why I was there. I asked 'are you closed?' she said 'no', so out of awkwardness I laughed a bit and said 'Ok, good because I have an appointment here at 6 I thought there was no one here!' to which she replied, 'no we are open' with no smile. Confused I said 'OK I just have to park my bike, I'll be back'. When I came back I walked in and she just said 'Ok, let's go' and walked off down the stairs so I followed. I seriously contemplated telling her I did not want to go ahead at this point - I sensed a bad attitude, she wasn't being polite, I felt like this was something she really didn't want to do and that I was putting her out. When I'm about to strip and have someone massage me I DON'T want to feel this way - it's too awkward and a waste of both our time, I stood there watching her prepare the table, she said nothing, I thought if I walk out - I'll lose my money as I'd paid already and also, obviously, had been looking forward to it. She left me to unchange and when she came back in yawned a few times while she started and while the phone rang and rang and rang in the next cubicle, which it did several times during the massage and was really annoying. When she actually did do the massage however, she was actually quite good and I did feel really, really relaxed, she also smiled at me a couple of times when I had to turn over etc. So then I figured, ok, maybe she's new (I dunno, but I've been a few times and never saw her) maybe she had a bad day, maybe her boss isn't nice to her, who knows?! because I didn't dislike her anymore and had a really good massage. It's just a pity it got off to that start and I very nearly walked out, never to return. If they can fix this, I will continue to go as their therapists are always really good. And PLEASE sort out the phone ringing, an endlessly ringing phone in a massage room?? - doesn't work.

The staff was really nice. But... the floor was dirty, my therapist had to pick up the phone in the middle of my treatment because they have no secretary. The treatment took longer than usual and I was not satisfied with the results.
I had a stress relief massage, which was great, but another customer was in the space next to me (separated by a curtain only) and loudly complaining about something. She made quite a scene that lasted at least 10 minutes and was disruptive to my massage. I am not sure why the staff member she was talking to did not lead her to a different area. Also at the end of my massage a staff member came in while I was still getting dressed to change the sheet on the massage table, effectively "rushing" me out while I was standing there in my pants!
I had a deep tissue massage and the therapist was very attentive, if a bit strong on the deltoids..I could feel soreness the next day. It did work out all the kinks though!
Nice local salon. Clean environment. Professional and friendly service. I thought the leg wax was fairly priced as well. Will definitely return.
