I recently visited wellbeing spa, the place was small, the room where I had my session was underground and really dark. The doctor just instructed me to change my clothes and lay on the bed. He didn't even really ask me what was my problem before he started with the needles. I was expecting a little bit more explanation about what he is doing and how it works, but none of that happened. Once he put the needless in, he just left the room, not saying when will he come back. The music was loud, but in spite of that I could hear him talking outside which was quite annoying. The massage bed was extremely uncomfortable, and I couldn't move because the needless were hurting me.. This was my first acupuncture ever, so I'm not sure how it should be done, but I'm sure this wasn't the right way. And in the end he was convincing me how he is the best in London and tried to sell me the package of 10 sesions which was really annoying. All in all a bad experience.
I have been going to Wellbeing Spa since April 2014. I book two courses of acupuncture followed by a massage and cupping. Bill (the owner) is very professional and extremely mannered. I have been happy with all the treatments I received. During my first course I was also taking some pills and tea he recommended. As he also is a doctor he is able to answer my concerns and is always happy to help. I am very happy I have found this place.
I had been suffering from severe pain in my back and neck for weeks and after a few unsuccessful visits to a masseuse I decided to try an osteopath. Having never had a treatment like this before I was a little nervous but Bill put me at ease as he has a lovely character and is obviously very skilled at his work. After an amazing massage and balancing of my spine and neck, the pain is completely gone. I will definitely be visiting Bill again in the future.
Bill is a great professional and his service is just outstanding. His knowledge about traditional medicine is also extremely helpful so I am delighted!
