I got to my appointment and on arrival to the clinic, I was told the machine that they needed to use for my facial was broken and they could not offer me the service.

I went to Wembley Beauty Clinic for a Hollywood wax. The receptionist seemed annoyed I booked via Treatwell and asked me to call next time—not a great start. The beautician was in a rush, didn’t introduce herself, and kept pushing other treatments, even saying the hair on my arms “didn’t look nice,” which felt rude. The wax was quick but incomplete, with missed spots. Hygiene was poor—paper on the bed tore immediately. Overall, disappointing.
