I booked an appointment to have some relaxation during a conference but it was a little chaotic. There were two staff doing treatments and no receptionist so I was asked to sit at manicure table which did not seem to have been cleaned ahead of my treatmenr and had a coat hung beside it over a piece of equipment. The staff spoke in another language regularly to each other. They did not confirm what treatment I was having and I felt rushed through and not very cared for. My therapist did part of her next customer alongside me, there was no music and no conversation. The shop was tiny but there was also a man in decorating the toilet which meant a strong smell of paint and no loo. My manicure is ok but despite living locally I'd never go back.
Unfortunately I can only give a poor review due to the bad customer service. When I arrived for my treatment I was told they already had someone booked in and that Treatwell bookings didn't count as actual bookings that day. The lady wasn't particularly friendly so personally it worked out for the best as I felt very uncomfortable and it wouldn't have been very relaxing, however they really should look at their booking system and block off slots online if they wish to use them for other customer's. It's extremely unprofessional to cancel somebody's appointment on the spot.
I had an appointment with Asha who took the time to talk me through my treatment. 3* for ambience is because there are improvement works going on. I'm sure once this is completed things will settle down . I was also advised of after care and the nails look great !
They did not as whether the wax was too hot. I told the lady the wax was too hot, she just turned the heat down and didn't even wait till it had cooled down. One of the ladies was huffing and puffing and couldn't wait to get me out of there. Wouldn't go back again!!
