Helen was great! She did my gel removal and new set perfectly, not a single issue with the nails and I’m really looking forward to coming back. Nice and quiet in the salon at the time I came in and their playlists are great too
I am not returning. The hair stylist was amazing - I actually quite enjoyed the blow dry. I was a bit annoyed with the lack of pricing clarity and a few issues with the way the owner handled the fact that my nails were cut and would not stop bleeding for a good 15-minutes. I was given disinfectants but an apology would have been nice. Instead, she shrugged it off, as if it is a common occurrence.
With hair, I booked the treatment and the site does not specify it as an add-on service. The £18-hair treatment is an add-on service, to be paired with haircut or blow dry, so the actual price is about £35. I guess this is still half the price of Covent Garden salons for the same basket of services, so I am not complaining but a clearer menu would be useful.
It is also a bit weird that manicure was to be paid in cash only, and the hair appointments take cards, but not AMEX.
Lovely evening otherwise. My nails were stained with blood so I picked burgundy colour. My hair looks great. But the salon is not one to write home about, unfortunately.

Unfortunately I had a really bad manicure here the other day. I have used this salon before and was really impressed by their acrylic nails. However I had a different technician this time who butchered my nails. She didn’t file them properly, they were uneven and she used the wrong varnish and redid my nails almost three times. All while not explaining what was going on...
