I arrived at the hotel for the first time and was very impressed with the arrival staff and decor ! My afternoon tea was one of the best I have ever had and I enjoyed my river view ( despite the rain ) the outdoor tub was nice and the facilities ample I was aware there was no pool so that was fine by me x Unfortunately my therapist was very young and new and lacked professionalism due to her age and inexperience she was a lovely lady but could do with training for better customer service skills and bedside manor I don’t believe this was a fault with her but with the company for nit giving her the appropriate skills ,
I called the venue on the day of our visit, to be told our booking had been cancelled!! Was told we had to be there at 4pm for treatments as no other slots available, very inconvenient and meant we were rushed. Treatment was very short, full body exfoliation. After the shower, no moisturiser offered, so left with dry skin! Jacuzzi pool was very cold, manager did come to apologise and arranged for it to be re-filled with hot water.
Dinner was in a lovely dining room overlooking the Thames. Despite giving our name and saying we were on a spa package, we were given the wrong menu! This was then taken away and a far more limited menu given instead!! Food was delicious and service good.
