A real find. A superb stylist in a calm, clean place. Full disclosure:
I'm a New Yorker and a picky one at that.
Walter did the tints and cut nicely. The only thing I'd suggest is that the directions indicate that the stairway down to the studio are on the Gardens st at the corner of Gloucester. The door is unmarked .. it should have Walter or the studio's name.

I had a haircut and balayage treatment a few days ago and so far I've been very pleased with the result. The experience itself was relaxing and enjoyable. I've already recommended Walter to a friend and would encourage to go anyone who is looking for a hairdresser that invests time and thought to find what really suits you, rather than doing a routine job. I'll definitely be going back.

I had the hot scissors cut. This was my first time so I wanted to see if it would be better for my hair as it's quite dry. I do have long fine hair and have had blonde highlights for years.
It will be a few weeks before I see the difference in the hot scissors vs normal cut however I am very happy with the layer styling, service and general experience (as always). Walter is also very good at discussing and providing honest advice on future care and maintenance without trying to sell products which is nice.
