I had a quick blow-dry at this salon. I quickly realised that its usual clientele are clearly men (I was the only woman there throughout my session and saw almost no female-branded products). I was disappointed that I had to ask for conditioner and that no products were used while blow-drying my hair (e.g. heat protection spray). That said, the blow dry looked good. I don't think I'd be going again as I felt like they were surprised to have a female customer, which didn't make for a relaxing experience.
a bit weird, no one was in there and they were playing prayers on the speakers. I'm Muslim as well so I don't care, it was just really off-putting. no one really spoke to me, they just sat me down and started working on my hair which is fine but if they did something I didn't like I wouldn't have felt comfortable speaking up. the blow dry was fine, but the whole experience was just a bit weird. wouldn't recommend and won't be returning
