Inky and the Mane is Edinburgh's only joint tattoo and hair studio with accessibility and creativity at its core. We also double as a versatile events venue offering monthly drag and art gallery exhibitions, workshops, parties, and rentable photography space.

As a queer-owned and family-run business, we’re on a mission to create a welcoming, professional, and community-focused creative hub where our customers feel comfortable expressing their full selves and our artists, barbers, and stylists feel empowered to do their best work and hone their craft.

Nestled alongside Calton Hill a mere 6-minute walk from Edinburgh’s Waverley Station, our studio has been purpose-built to be fun, airy, and modular, meaning that in addition to the high-quality tattoo and barbering services we have the privilege of offering our customers, we’re able to host frequent community events and rent our space for professional photography and other creative endeavours.

We are proud to work alongside an amazing team composed of some of Scotland’s most talented creatives and regularly ask both UK and International artists and barbers to join us as guests.
