The salon, which is based in Newcastle city centre above the CEX Exchange store shop on busy Northumberland Street, was established by Sharon and Ian in 2007 and has over 35 years experience in the Hair design and cutting profession.

Margaret's journey began as a Saturday girl, working in a salon on Newcastle's Saville Row. With a flair for hairdressing and a warm personality, Margaret quickly progressed to Managaress and eventually Salon Owner.

Situated in the Bigg Market, Tha Hair Cabin flourished, inspiring Margaret's daughters Claire and Joanne to follow her into the trade, qualifying in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy. With her daughters by her side Margaret's salon became a family affair and an inviting place to be.

The combination of warm atmosphere and young creative talent has proved to be a winning formula, both for the family and their clients. A visit to their salon is not just an appointment, you are visiting friends.
