Good hair removal will always depend on the technician and the product she/he uses. A proficient technician will always produce fab results.

Hot wax is the best one to remove very short/coarse hair (ie: brazilians/bikini/underarms) I also use Perron Rigot as I find this to be the best hot wax I have used and all my clients comment on how painless their waxing treatment is. The sugaring technique is similar to the hot wax as it doesn't require a paper strip to remove the wax. However it is not as flexible as hot wax and it is applied on a colder temperature therefore it doesn't open the pores making the treatment more painful and prone to hair breakage.

I find the same as All Over Beauty, I only use Perron Rigot wax and I can get extremely short hairs-as little as 2mm.
As I wax at least 90% of every working day it is not just the product you use but the technique

Waxing,or sugaring will always be more effective if the hairs are of an adequate length to attach to.Some people with fine,weak hairs may find that they can get away with shorter hairs but not if the hairs are quite thick and strong.It is therefore less about the type of substance used but what the hairs are like.Also the therapists application of the wax/sugar will also determine the success,such as the correct temperature,thickness of application and the technigue for removal.,
