What is the safest and least painful method to permanently remove hair from around the nipple?

Please could you advise on what method of permanent hair removal is least painful and safest in the long run to use on nipples. I have heard of electrolysis, VPL and IPL. Can someone explain what they do?
Many thanks.

For permanent, pain-free and effective hair removal on the nipples I recommend the Soprano XLi laser hair removal treatment. It is the only pain-free laser on the market for safe treatment of all skin types. This is why it is so popular and because the nipple area has a lot of pigment in it, there is a risk of burning the skin if you go for IPL and some other lasers. The risk of burning with the Soprano Xli is minimal and it is very safe.
At the Pulse Laser Clinic (http://www.pulse-clinic.co.uk) they charge £50 per session for nipples and they offer a FREE no obligation consultation, so you can go and speak with a qualified laser practitioner and they can answer all your questions.

I would recommend Laser or Intense Pulsed light. Electrolysis works well, but takes longer, as each hair needs to be treated individually.

Thank you for enquiring about Permanent Laser Hair Reduction via our website. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL™) technology offers a gentle, non-invasive, long lasting solution to unwanted hair on the face, back, legs, bikini line or any other body area (including nipples).
We have been carrying out this treatment for many years and it is very successful. We are registered under the Care Quality Commission (which is very important to know if you are looking and comparing clinics).
We are not the cheapest Hair Removal Clinic as we concentrate on the highest quality of treatment. With cheaper treatments some hair can be missed & we assure our patients that they will not have tufts of hair remaining untreated.
In order to offer treatment a few guidelines must be met. You cannot have a suntan, have used fake tan or sun beds a month prior to treatment as the laser light is attracted to the pigmentation in the hair, and so you may burn as the light would also be attracted to the pigmentation in your tanned skin. The use of St John’s Wort, and some medicines can make skin light sensitive and cause burns. Please bring with you a list of any medication that you may be taking. You cannot be pregnant at the time of treatment.
To have your nipple area treated we charge £75 per treatment, An average of 5 treatments spaced 12 weeks apart will be required for complete removal.
Please also keep in mind that we offer 0% interest financing for 6 months, 12 months or 2 years.
We would like to invite you to come in for a personalised consultation with one of our specialist nurses. They will be able to accurately assess you and give you the best treatment plan.
We charge £50 for a consultation; however if you go ahead with treatment this amount is held on account and will be deducted from your first treatment cost.
Please call or e-mail us to make a booking or with any further enquiries.
We look forward to meeting you.

Nipple hair are suitable for laser hair removal. Laser hair removal works by a process known as selective photothermolysis. In this technique, black pigment in a hair follicle is heated and destroyed. The process can lead up to permanent hair removal. The hair on the breast, abdomen, bikini, legs, arms, face, and nipple are all suitable for this modality of treatment. Make sure that the laser is appropriate for your skin color. Electrolisis is another option and specialist usually are happy with results in the nipple area but it may hurt a bit. Have a lovely Christmas.
