First of all make sure you wear SPF to prevent any further pigmentation. You need to consider using skin exfoliating systems or products aimed at pigmentation. Dermalogica has a Chromawhite range that is great for this or Elemis Tri-Enzyme facials help with pigmentation. If the scar is recent then it is better to treat immediately to help get rid of it.

It really depends on the extent and nature of the scarring. A procedure to inject hyluronic acid filler under skin which has been potmarked (to lift the skin) may be a good first approach (if the skin has lost volume in some areas). A course of Genuine Dermaroller can then help the skin produce collagen to help heal itself. Finally prescription topical treatment (using ingredients such as prescription grade Vitamin C and Retin-A) can help improve the overall appearance of the skin.

Hi, Skin peeling, microdermabrasion, and laser will help. The older the scar the more difficult to rid. However try using bare minerals make-up or we can supply you with Jane Irdale. Thank you Beauty Visage
