Is electrolysis really permanent or a 'permanent but wears off after 5 years' kinda treatment...

electrolysis is the only fda approved method of 'permanent' hair removal, once each hair is removed no other hair will grow in that area, i used it on my face for 8 months and 3 years down the line nothing has grown back, however they do say during the menapause you might get the odd hair grow back due to your hormones. However other treatments like laser and ipl are NOT permanent but a REDUCTION!
