There’s nothing like a hair and beauty fix to soften the blow of the oncoming cold weather. Autumn’s here, and whilst the leaves are starting to fall – the beauty world has a tonne of new trends for us to drool over.
We’ve scoured fashion weeks, street styles (and of course, our Insta feeds) to bring you the biggest beauty trends of Autumn 2021. We’re not sure about you, but we can’t wait to try them.

1 Chocolate lipstickThis season, oh-so-90s shades of brown lipstick are making a major comeback. Like in its original heyday, anything goes- we’re loving mocha, chocolate, and mauve tones, with matte, glossy, or slightly shimmery finishes. This trend may or may not be inspired by the coffees and hot chocolates that we can’t wait to sip this winter. Yum.

2 Metallic nails
The past 18 months have been pretty so-so, we think we can all agree. Which is why we’re saying no to subtle nails this season. Luckily, one of Autumn’s biggest nail trends is sparkling, shimmering (and very extra) metallic polish. Silver, gold, rose gold, metallic blue, or glam red- the possibilities are endless. The perfect addition to spice up any ‘autumn neutral’ outfit (or complement your already extra outfit – we’re here for that too).

3 The striking liner
As long as masks are still a thing, the eyes will continue to be the centre of attention when it comes to makeup. This season, eyeliner will be the star of the show. But, again – we’re going bold – we’re loving anything metallic, glitter, or bright coloured. We’re also loving TikTok’s standout trend of the season – the reverse cat-eye (like a classic cat-eye, but underneath the eye instead of on top – you get it). We’re starting party season early this year.

4 Red hair
Gigi Hadid and Kristen Stewart have proved it beyond a doubt – red is the colour for Autumn. Fiery orange, cozy copper, or natural red – this season we’re loving warm and romantic tones. Just like an autumn evening by the fire – toasty.

5 Almond nails
Bye-bye square nails – this season is all about long, elegant, almond nails.
