NEW clients must pre paid for first appointment. Unfortunately there are a few people out there who don’t cancel and don’t value the salon spaces created and their talented staff. If you don’t prepay your appointment will be cancelled. Regular/Previous clients do not need to prepay.
If you are a NEW waxing client understand I have allotted time slots, if the hair is all different lengths from shaving or epilators it’s not fair on the therapist to expect them to pluck out all the ones not in the growth cycle, this will have to be done in a second session. I give extra time to all clients and check for missed hair but I can’t spend an extra hour plucking out hairs that are too short for wax or I struggle to see. I want to manage client expectations before booking, an extra 15 minutes of plucking and going over short hairs again is my limit and for 99.9% of clients unnecessary. Hollywoods it’s always less painful to have a little trim if the hair is very long, it can be done without a trim no problem but it’s best if the hair is around 1/4 of an inch. I do not trim pubic hair in the salon, as it involves extra time cleaning for next client.
